Derick and May grew up in sunny Southern California. They are blessed to be the parents of two awesome boys that are the joy of their lives. Derick holds a BA from California Baptist University while May obtained her BA from the University of California, UC Berkeley (Go Bears!). They both felt the call of God to attend seminary at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa. Derick obtained his MA in Missions while May obtained her MA in Biblical Literature. Derick and May have a passion for God's Word, for living life in the Father’s love and for walking it out through the power of the Holy Spirit. They have a heart for God's global mission and enjoy teaching and ministering to God's children of all ages (especially the kids here at HCBA).
